In Northern Ireland we got motivated by seeing ICT (Information and Communication Technology) possibilities. The ICT-equipment of the classrooms includes smart boards, and of the school a computer room with modern computers. On the computers, learning programs are installed which fit perfectly into the school curriculum and learning levels. We got shown how they use different learning programs on the PC and also on I-Pads. The opportunities to use Apps in classroom and in open learning situations impressed us. The step from learning to use the technology up to using the technology in order to learn fascinates us.

The hall decoration was colorful. Children’s pictures were brought to bear with effective graphic flourish. The mix of children’s paintings and high technology used for presenting the school also impressed us very much.

To install the step to using the technology in order to learn, we are trying to get tablets in number of one class.
