I came back from Copenhagen with lots of inspiration and ideas for my classroom. Every while still in Copenhagen I started planning to renew the learning environment for my student with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) back home. Due to the structural arrangement of my classroom, the close setting in which the children learn at Ullerødskølen, could not be implemented. So to give the children a modified possibility of retreat, I created a cozy corner in my class furnished with a mattress, pillows and blankets. The cozy corner gives my students the opportunity to relax and to take a break if they need to and is very well received by the young people.
