We had a drama project with three classes from three different schools working together. This project was funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, the Arts and Culture. The project was carried out by two trained theater directors and lasted an entire school year. The topic was “Me in 50 years”. How should the world be? The children wanted a peaceful world, but they were sure it would not be. The pupils worked out the action inspired by “Animal Farm”. The working methods included a painting workshop, voice training exercises, physical exercises, a self-defense course and many community building exercises. In May 2013 they held three performances. Federal Minister Mrs. Schmidt and newspaper reporters attended the premiere.
